About Me:
mad as bloody hell and i’m not gonna take it anymore! if i want to pierce my tongue or dye my hair blue…i will, dammit! i’m the byproduct of all this ameriasian mish mash…the epitome of being asian, being american, and just being. i find myself emotionally drawn to humanity and it’s problems, and
all my life i’ve been told to be polite, be quiet, be a nice guy. I’m sick and tired of being something i’m not just for the sake of society’s piece of mind. im
most of the time i do community service to fight the good fight. although it seems a losing battle, i continue because i have a strong sense of the virtuous.
every time i read john hersey’s “hiroshima,” i’m driven to tears. we’re supposed to be intelligent creatures bestowed with the power of reason, yet we rarely seem to u s e it. the outlook is at times menacingly bleak, but just as any other social activist, i hang tough, i know this world is worth fighting for, it’s just a matter of convincing others.
Disclaimer: Although I am ranting a little bit and many of you don’t usually see this side of me. I thought it’d be an interesting change of pace from
the normal happy go lucky thoughts I post up on here. And yes I do feel a little down every once in awhile. =) Enjoy!

but yah…there is nothing wrong with being a nice guy dorko, haha…u can be a nice guy, and still do things like piercing ur tongue, dying ur hair blue…ish all good. but u shouldnt be doing things just to please others or just cuz of wut other ppl will say if u dont behave or do something a certain way, just be urself! 
Society are mere puppets to the media monsters. We’re being withheld from the truth and reasoning because our media and government tells us otherwise…People do need to open their eyes and especially their MIND- think beyond the standards of American society, and because this society that we think is so perfect, is so corrupt. It just sucks that people are blind to the reality of it all. Wait where was I going w/ this? Oh yea…I feel yah! I was watching Pearl Harbor today…and to add on to your entry, all societies have their own corruption and as long as they keep thinking what their doing is right, we can never meet ends… =(

It takes so much more in a person to be nice, as opposed to being an ass. Be whoever you want to be outside, because it shouldn’t change what matters under the skin, and anyone who doesn’t see that isn’t worth knowing. Explode if you have to, just not at the expense of yourself and those you love. And remember: always ALWAYS, express yourself. Rugrat.
well before you put the disclaimer about how you wanted to express feelings that you normally don’t express, i was about to say, whoa lan, doesn’t sound like you.
its difficult to be positive all the time. there’s nasty stuff going on all around us, even in college-fucken-station. most people don’t really think about stuff like that, but instead just are self-involved w/their own lives… which we are all guilty of sometimes. props to you for speaking your mind.

I read Hersey’s book too. It really is sad…to think that we can just do this to other people and that we have things like propaganda machines to dehumanize and distant the fact that they are humans. anyhow, just let it all out yo, it’s all good for you.

as long as there are people like you fighting “the good fight”. it will never be a losing battle. don’t get too frustrated.
hehe ya i took that pic in Vietnam summer 2000…doesn’t look like me does it? haha the older i become the uglier i get…anyways i know my entry is misleading cause it’s only 1 word…of course not everyone is shady…that would make me a hyprocrite because there are times that i’m not true to myself or others…but anyways, i just felt kinda crappy that day cause i found out ish that made me felt so little and small…but watever i’m over it…thanks for leaving me a msg..take care lan!

we will still be kids inside and throw fits when we want to. we will always scarf down the food when we’re starving. and we’ll always go [grrrrr] when we’re mad. intelligent? i dont know about that.. i’ll settle for the fact that we’re only human.

well.. i tink that.. this society has gotten out of control already. i mean.. we don even have the freedom of speach because the government owns like 40% of the media and the president don’t want us to go against him and hear all that neggative stuff about him. So … in my opinion, fuk what people think. Just be who u want to be. i mean as long as it goes under ur morals then it’s koo. there are certain behaviors we odd to respect (ex.church & school..) but.. when it comes to public and ur time… why not be someone u want to be. As long as ur happy… that’s all it matters dear. you can’t live ur life depending on wut people say bout u or how they view u. there are many but many different types of people, how much can we care for cryin out loud? individuality is what makes us who we are. There are many bad stuff goin on, we can’t care bout all of it. so juz be who u want to be…. no one has the rights to tell you who to be or how to be….

sup foo! yeah! you do whatever you want! i wouldn’t be part of the “society” that tells you not to do that. i think everyone can be as freaky as they want. hehe. i usually like doing against what ppl expects of me…sometimes it’s good…sometimes it’s bad. you’re thoughtful too yo.
community service…i do it becuz i feel family didn’t give me much when i was little…so best i could do is give to others…knowing i could give helps me feel better about life.
Hey you gotta be you and do what makes you happy and if that entales piercing something and dying hair DO IT!! Who cares what everyone else says, only you can live your life, and you can only live it once so have fun!
